When you hire my office, you work with me directly. I lead your design session, I make the planning decisions with you, and I review and approve every document before you sign it. You will always know who is responsible for your plan, and you will be able to reach that person.

I founded Yu & Yu Law to give California families a straightforward way to plan: one attorney who knows your family, one flat fee agreed on before any work begins, and documents written for your situation rather than filled in from a form. Estate planning and asset protection are the only work my office does.
I prepare revocable living trusts, pour-over wills, durable powers of attorney, advance healthcare directives, and the trust deed for your home. When an estate calls for more, I design irrevocable trusts and other advanced tools that address estate tax exposure and help protect assets for the next generation.
Many families have more going on than a standard plan covers: a blended family, a family business, rental property, real estate in more than one state, or relatives and accounts outside the United States. I take the time to understand how those pieces fit together, and I explain every choice in plain English before you sign.
My office is in Fullerton, in north Orange County, and I represent clients throughout California. Clients complete their plans by phone and email.
Once your plan is signed, I show you how to fund your trust so it works the way it should, and I am available to update your plan as your family, your property, or the law changes.
