The Magic Castle

Magic is the most underappreciated of all the arts. The amount of dedication, practice, dexterity, showmanship, patience, and touch required for a close-up magic trick is truly out of this world and leaves all with wonderment.

While there are centuries of pedagogy, hundreds of competitions, and millions of dollars’ worth of scholarships for more traditional arts such as piano, ballet, and theatre, the same does not hold true for magic.

As such, I have been a proud Associate Member of The Academy of Magical Arts and The Magic Castle in Hollywood, California, a non-profit that has preserved, promoted, and spread the art of magic since 1962.
